Bank data and accounting data, one contract

Underwrite small businesses and run expense workflows on cash and books: Plaid bank transactions, assets and income, alongside invoices, bills, ledgers and P&L from 55+ accounting platforms. One integration partner, one invoice.

Can you buy Plaid through Apideck?

Yes. Apideck is a Plaid reseller partner. For business lenders and expense platforms with customers in the United States and Canada, Apideck provisions Plaid Transactions, Assets and Bank Income and bills them together with the Apideck Accounting API, which reads and writes the books of 55+ accounting platforms. Bank data is switched on after a business verification of your company.

Where cash and books meet

Bank data shows what moved. Accounting data shows what it was for, and what is still owed. These products need both.

Small-business lending

Underwrite on what the bank says and what the books say. Plaid Assets and Bank Income show balances, cash flow and deposits; the Accounting API adds the P&L, balance sheet, aged receivables and payables, straight from QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite.

Expense and spend management

Pull business bank transactions with Plaid Transactions, match them to receipts and cards, and write the result back to the customer’s ledger as expenses, bills or journal entries.

AP and AR automation

Reconcile payments against invoices and bills: bank transactions tell you money moved, the accounting platform tells you which invoice it settled.

Why get both from Apideck

One contract, one invoice

Apideck provisions and bills the Plaid products alongside your Apideck plan. One vendor review, one renewal, one support team for both halves of the data.

Books from 55+ platforms

The Accounting API reads and writes QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics and more through one integration, real-time and pass-through with zero data retention.

Built for business data

Scoped to commercial use: business lending and servicing, and expense workflows. Every customer goes through business verification before bank data is switched on.

Who it is for

Business-purpose use

Commercial lending and servicing, expense and spend management, AP and AR. Not consumer lending or personal finance.

US and Canada

Your customers are in the United States and Canada, and bank data is not passed on to recipients outside them.

Business verification first

We verify your company (KYB) before bank data goes live. It usually runs alongside your integration work.

Questions

Can I buy Plaid through Apideck?
Yes, for business-purpose use cases in the United States and Canada. Apideck is a Plaid reseller partner: we provision Plaid Transactions, Assets and Bank Income for your product and bill them together with your Apideck Accounting API plan, after a business verification (KYB) of your company.
Which Plaid products are available through Apideck?
Plaid Transactions for expense management and reconciliation, and Plaid Assets and Bank Income for underwriting business loans, plus on-demand refresh. Account verification for payments (Plaid Auth), Balance and Identity are not offered through Apideck today.
Why get bank data and accounting data from one provider?
Bank data shows what moved through an account; accounting data shows what it was for, and what is still owed. Lenders and expense platforms need both, and buying them separately means two vendor reviews, two contracts and two support relationships. Through Apideck you get both under one agreement, with one team to call.
Who is this for?
US and Canadian companies that lend to small businesses (term loans, lines of credit, revenue-based financing, invoice financing, merchant cash advances) and platforms for expense management, spend management and AP/AR automation. It is not available for consumer lending or personal finance apps.
Is the Plaid data stored by Apideck?
The Accounting API is real-time pass-through with zero data retention. For the Plaid products, ask us during onboarding: we walk through the data flow and your obligations to your own customers as part of the business verification.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the Plaid products you use and your volume, and is quoted together with your Apideck plan. Talk to us with your expected number of connected businesses and we will send a quote.
